One of C+L's designer Kate's dreams is to create jewelry in collaboration with other artists who work in various media and styles. By doing this, Kate is able to expand her visual language, include imagery she might not have considered before, and share some of her favorite artists and designers with you! Each collaboration will be produced in limited edition of around 20 pieces.
About this collaboration:
Keviette Minor is a graphic designer, illustrator, and painter who has been working as Kate's studio assistant off and on since 2019. She and Kate collaborated to create a jewelry design to celebrate their friendship. The earring with wavy hair represents Kate, while the earring with curly hair represents Keviette. The gradient colors are some of Keviette's favorites, as you can see from one of her paintings! We feel that, like our friendship, you only notice the differences in the two earrings if you look closely - from a distance we have more in common. You can check out Keviette's website HERE.
Each earring measures 1 1/4" wide x 1 1/2" long and weighs about the same as a house key.
Posts are nickel free/hypoallergenic/surgical and each earring has a drop of resin on the back so no metal will touch your ears.
